It is just find! Stronger than stock for sure.

I was thinking of making it a cant racer. But might just leave it alone and use the old ported 357 for that, it feels a bit faster right now. I need to time both.

Thanks for that Kevin. I do like .325, but am starting to use more 3/8 on the 346s'.

I have always liked the 357xp!!!

Well, it's alive and strong as hell. :D

New bearings, seals & oem 357xp top-end. I took .027" off the cylinder base to bring the squish down to .020". Comp is at 195 psi with only one and a half tanks through it.

My other older 357 is at 190 with just a base gasket delete, so there is something good about these 357 cylinders! There is no point in cuttin squish band or doing a pop-up with this kind of comp, IMO.

Not ported yet, I'm waiting on a right angle hand piece for my flex shaft grinder. I'll likely just raise the upper transfers about .040-.050" and open up the exhaust port a bit.

I'm in the process of doing a bunch of 357, 359 variants.  Going to try and keep all with the same work done to cyls.

They do!  It's amazing what cutting the bridge out and blending the transfer covers toward intake.

I've run some Very Strong 359s' But I like the 357 cylinder a lot better!

I don't know personally but I will.  I've heard ported 359 top on 357 bottom is "The" combo.
What I'm doing is basic WP for work saw on all cyls. to begin with.

Man you got your hands full there. 

I remember guys doing this type stuff on racesaws back in the day with OEM parts.  Sad part I cant remember the outcomes anymore.
