He would have saved more money if he would have brought it to me in the first place. I don't have a problem teaching people how to do what I do. They get to do their own work, learn how their saw works and then can repair/maint it on their own.

In the long run I think the above makes for better customer relations!

There is a small nick in the cylinder spigot which should chamfer out without any problems, 10 minutes max!

Got a nice mostly complete 362 off the bay for $150. Gilardoni 47mm CP dual transfer jug and piston, needs a new ring other than that C/P are good to go. Big end nice and tight, needs new bearings and seals, I would do that any way. Missing some other stuff clutch and oiler, chain brake, clutch cover, oil breather, top cover, and carb/intake all I have.

Question is what should I do with it? I can put a 372 BB Jug and 064 piston on it, a 372XP top end or leave it alone, putting it back together as a 362.

Opinions please!

You KNOW my opinion....You could save me some money! Just bring that build to our next GTG to compare with the other "Dark" big bore builds...

I built one of those a while back. OEM 51.4mm C/P. Used it for a while and put the 362 top end back on. Don't get me wrong it ran good but the small mount bar was IMO a drawback on a 75cc saw.

Finished the MM just before quitting time. HT paint and bake tomorrow. Saw has already been test run, so know it runs. Once the muffler is baked then can install muffler and tune for the MM and put it in some wood.

Sorry WD, was trying to keep the selling price under $500 so no BB kit on this one, went with the OEM C/P that was on it when I got it..

Tim, when you do  up another batch of big saw dough, I'd be interested in what comes out of the 'bake oven'.

''Smell that''!?
