Never seen a side tensioner small mount cover. Dont think is such a thing. Only small in the ones that use front tensioner in crankcase.

As far as I know, the only 362xp saws with a side tensioner were the 2005 "US only" ones - that really were 372s, with the large bar mount and the 362 top end on them.
This was the year the 372 was out of the catalog both in the US and here, supposedly replaced by the 575xp (that didn't work, as we all know, the 372 came back, and the 575 evolved into the 576).

Yes, your pictures and instructions are readily understandable, but I will try to find an original cover first. Do you know what other saws shared the same small mount clutch cover?
Thanks for your help.

That would be the 2063 and 2163 (in red of course), nothing else.

I'm not sure if any of the small mount covers ever came with the side chain adjuster - but no IPL I could find showed any sign of it.

Thanks Sawtroll, I  will see if Ebay has one.

Just to be sure, I'm wondering if the 2063/2163 all had the small mount or some had the large mount?
There's one on ebay, but pricey at 80$ delivered.I should try my Husky dealer.
I don't want to jimmy my 362 as its a saw Ken Dunn built.

I have seen no trace of any large mount 2063/2163 officially being made - but odd things do happen, often after the saws left the factory.

I took the KD J&P off the 362XPG and put on a Hutzl BB.

How about some pics and measurements of that jug.

I wish Ken was still around when he left so did a bunch of experience and knowledge.
