« on: January 13, 2014, 07:35:24 pm »
I have an old 345 husky with a bad cylinder and an old 365 husky with a bad coil , Does anyone know if I can use the coil off the 345 on the 365?

I do not believe so the 365 coil is part 544047101 and the 345 is part 544047001 There are several versions of the 345 and a myriad of different versions of the 365. We would have to know what exact models of each saw you have. A picture of the black tag on each saw would help greatly.

Well then another question would be , are the new 365XT's running a limited coil, because I just bought a brand new one and it seems like it has a high speed miss.

Yes the xt saws all have a limited coil. There is NO difference in the 365 and 372 XT saws save the transfer port covers, exactly the same saws. You can get a new 372 coil from HLSproparts.com for $30. It is a Chinese coil but they seem to work fine and are not limited.
