Not that I am worried about this now. But I wonder IF the Caber or Split rings will hold up to the alky/nitro mix in a race saw or hot gas saw.

I had some aftermarket 5000 rings that would turn blue and loose compression after a few runs on nitro/alky mix. Only husky partner OEM rings held up with no problems.
Now AFM worked fine in gas work saws and a woods ported 5000 still out there and hot woods ported saws, but dont add any coktail mixes.

Hmmm it blanks out the word cocktail.

I ordered and put 394 OEM rings in the 166 piped saw for this reason when I had aftermarket on hand.
Anyone else found that the aftermarket rings wont hold up to the alky/nitro mix?
