385 Xp
« on: August 10, 2014, 07:46:07 pm »
Have a 385 with some hot starting problems. Went threw the carb and new fuel line and filter. Starts and runs great when first started. Then after a long cut will pop and carry on and shut off then hard to start again. Also the crankcase checks out on pressure and vac. I am thinking it is either a plug or ignition module problem. What do you guys think?

You need one of those little clamp on spark testers that you can put on there real quick and you would know for sure.

Got the one from stihl. Just going by what the owner has told me. Have to finish up some of his other saws and when he picks these up he will drop off that one.
