Well, now I've really got myself in a pickle!  Tore it all down and cleaned all the gunk from the fins on the cylinder head and everywhere else I could find it.  Put it all back together and voila!  The dang thing won't start!  New spark plug making spark, plenty of gas to the carb, nothing else obviously wrong.  I didn't really want to cut wood today anyway! ::)
