Chainsaw Repair

It's been awhile since my last post, the holidays and all.  Now I really need to get at least one of my saws up and running.    Just to refresh, I had a smoking problem with my 55.  It would run for a while and then smoke would roll out from around the cylinder head.  Just pulled the cylinder head and found some pretty serious scoring of the piston and the cylinder (see the pics.  Wondering what the general thoughts are?  Should I replace the piston and head?  The piston is so scored that I can't remove the ring without prying it off.
