Not sure what part you are talking about. The gaskets where the same I replaced I double checked

Besides the gaskets you have 2 diaphragms.  You got to make sure your using the right ones when given a choice in the kits. Mainly talking the check valve side.

Till you pull and check that impulse grommet to replace with new. Dont do just half the job on these saws. The impulse is a must with age on them. JMO

I'm pretty sure this is what Kevin is talking about.  Correct me if I am wrong.

Happy Thanksgiving!  I am glad to try to help.  I have a 1960 Ford F100 in the shop right now trying to maintain it as stock as possible, so I know the challenge.  Good luck!

Just thought of something to ad too. Dont over tighten those carb fasteners. Easy to strip out in the plastic.

Finally got the other parts you guys mentioned, The saw is doing the same thing it will only run with the choke on about 1/4. I pulled the carb back apart to look things over and ended up dropping the spring the works the needle valve and said the heck with it and came in the dang house >:(
