I think the 545 looks better but I like both of those particular saws very much.

All orange.  To be honest, I don't much like the look of these latest 5-series Husqvarnas (including the bigger saws such as the 562XP).  To my eye, they look like somebody 'squished' the front end of a 576XP before remounting the chainbrake lever....8)

I like the shape of them, looks fast and nimble, which they also are!  ;D

However, I don't really like the "silver" paint, but it doesn't really bother me either.

545 550 feel so sweet and balanced in the hands. The AV and handling  IMO is way better then 346.  All JMO and likes.

One thing I don't like about these two is that when you set them down, they tend to want to roll over onto the chain side. The 346 is a little this way.

It is a pain to remove/replace (especially replace) the B&C but the outboard clutch allows them to be much slimmer and lighter.

I have a Dolmar 5105 with a inboard clutch. It is very easy to remove/replace the B&C. But the 5105 when you add up the width of the inboard clutch and the wrap spring start assist on the starter, they are very wide especially when set close to my 545 or 550XP.
