The 555 is for sale here now. Dealer has a demo. Will get a price Sat. One of the cutters on the crew tried it but bought a 357 instead. New 357 and tax was $1006.25

The 555 with tax was $1063.75. Makes the Stihl 362 for $803.85 look better all the time.

Its crazy the prices you guys have to pay for husky up there and funny how close your stihl prices are to ours which I had always thought were high in the past. Till husky started charging the same as stihl here.

I remember 357xp being $499 and the MS361 being $589 and I thought that was crazy priced. Then next thing you know husky shot their foot off and priced 357xp at $600-$629  :o

Now we have a MS362 in $700+ range  :o  and then husky  comes out with the 562xp in the $700+ range    :o

The trouble with Husky in my area is that the dealers will not deal. Heres the price, pay it or leave. The OPE part of their business is very small.

At the Stihl dealership we never let a sale walk out the door. Stihl OPE make up 70% of our business. Going back to the shop Feb 27th.  :)

Well not saying your story isnt true Old Iron but I bought my 555 three weeks ago in your area for $675.00 plus 15% hst for a grant total of $776.25 canadian dollars ??? kinda thought that was a little much

I would say you got a deal. I paid more than that for my last 346xpg over 5 years ago.  :'(

Did you get it from Dayton or Comeauville? Was it a demo? The price I got was from one of the cutters that works with me. He bought a 357 instead.

 I am going to Dayton on Sat to see what I can get one for. Enjoy the saw, even if it is a Husky.  ;)
