562/372/395 videos
« on: December 30, 2013, 01:48:01 pm »
Cut I put some videos of a stock 395 a stock 372 xt and a ported 562 up on my youtube channel, the wood is 27 inch frozen oak, the bar I used on all cuts was a 28 inch bar and chain , the stock 395 was the fastest at 28.07 seconds , the 372 was 40.74 seconds and the ported 562 was 31.84 seconds , the 562 is the saw I fall timber with so its a real true worksaw , I like the 562 alot as its real nice and light , 28 inch bar is just to much for it thou as it does not give enough bar oil to cut this type of wood , in pine its fine  but in oak its not , I cut with 22 inch bar on it thou and its ok with that

changed ported 395 to stock 395

Just to confirm, you used the same bar and chain on all cuts?

Big difference in stock 372 and 395. Ported 562 looks like the ticket.

I was thinking kinda the same gatekeeper.  If the 372 is a x torq, its pretty lame, and when you look at the specs for the x torq vs the 372 xp, the x torq has less torque 3.8 vs 4.3 NM at 6600 rpm.  Now Id like to see a ported 395.   That 372 sure does seem to fall on its face a lot.
