Most things Husqvarna are that way. And it is done the same way across many models, do one and you can do them all.

The first Dolmar 7900 I did I could not get the coil spring for the brake in no matter what I tried. Finally bought the factory essentially a modified cheap set of channel locks that cost $75. Still could not get the spring in, it would hump in the middle when trying to get it in place. Then I discovered that there was a removable half round piece of metal in the spring channel which when removed was the key. You put the spring in the metal channel then compress it with the tool, viola spring in on the first try. The 7900 WM said nothing of this.
