« on: January 19, 2014, 01:26:50 pm »
I enjoy seeing and reading the old poulan ad pics. So I figure lets do it for the others too.

I know Willard has a bunch of ole ads for stihl husky and other stuff.  Hope you will share up.

Again a old post by Willard.  Husqvarna 240 ad pic.

There are a lot of ads and brochures on Magnus' collectors forum, in the "Library" section.

This was a attempt to make a active break that react to motion rather than a handle activation.
System was named "Tvärniten" and it is not possible to translate this in to eng with the full meaning of the word and its humor.
Swed'0'matic was to be the Eng name for the system.
This was introduced on 140. 160/180 series saw had same system too.

Kevin I'd love to post them here but I have an issue with the process how  pics are to be posted here. I only post on 4 sites: here, T House, F Forum and Magnus's Chainsaw Collectors SE.
The easiest and best to post pics on is T House, no shrinking just download and a nice big pic is posted. F Forum took a while to catch onto their gallery setup but it too works very well.
Magnus's site is like Chainsaw Repair and again I don't post any new pics there. I used to have a program to shrink, crop etc. but no longer have it available.
T House is a good setup I'd like to see everyone have that. I just don't know if you and Magnus can set that up or any problems it might cause.

Shrinking pics is like all other things hard until you done it once. On CSCF there is 500kb limit, that is big enough for any pic you need to see.
Send what you need to me, make the post, I put them in it. I am sure Kevin helps you as well if you ask.
I have a server set up here for the larger documents, then insert a link to it in post.

Reasons for doing this is many, but as it is not that many that have problems resizing I rather do it for them than have trouble with forum.
At most there is 10/day to help out and that is not often so it is no problem.
