My saw will start up and run at high RPM but when rpms get low it will die every time. Tried adjusting throttle screw and L RPM her but no luck so far. Any other suggestions, should I remove carb and clean? Thanks of any hints.

My WAG.  Maybe the carb has epa stops on the L.   Trim the plastic tab off.  Guessing here. Now open the L up now till you have good throttle on/off the trgger. Adjust the I idle now till it idles with the fatter L.

My guess is the L is to lean and you cant get enough adjustment with the epa tab on the needle.
