Chainsaw Repair

Just showing the pic of the 66 cylinder that I had in past.  These are all the pics I can find as this saw was sent to Finland if I recall right and cylinder never removed. Look like new inside still.
Sorry no pic of flywheel side like his pic was.

Did the 66 have closed transfer ports?  If not then that is a 266XP cylinder.

No it didn't - it had basically the same open port Gilardoni as the non-xp 268.

Are you sure that is a closed port cylinder, and how do you know? 

Maybe you looked at the wrong picture?

The outside of the transfer port bulges outward to make room for the transfer bridge.

Well, I just found an old picture I had saved (hard-copy only) of an open loop Gilardoni, and it surely has such bulges where the transfers are, just like the cylinder in question here.
That one was off a non-xp 268, but that one used the same cylinder as the 66.
