As I said elsewhere it is a "frankensaw", that most likely is a 66 with a 266xp starter cover.  ;)

Did the 66 have closed transfer ports?  If not then that is a 266XP cylinder.

No it didn't - it had basically the same open port Gilardoni as the non-xp 268.

Are you sure that is a closed port cylinder, and how do you know? 

Maybe you looked at the wrong picture? ???
