Could be a carb/fuel problem but I would look towards an air leak. If you post some pics we can help with the model  if there is no tag.

Do you have a 272 or a 372?

all I can find on it is a professional,it also has a metal safety chain stop I mean old with a push down button on it to unlock ,when you say a air leak where from ,it was working fine and sounds great once you start it but it revs strait up when it starts it tries to rev but just revs right up is there a number or a way to tell what it is incase it needs a carb kit

Sounds more like a 272?

There's still an air leak between the carburetor and the cylinder body

What makes you think 71cc or 72cc chainsaw?   Could it be a 268  266 61 66 etc?

Look like this?
