Originally (late 1990s) the 350 and the 351 (not an xp) used the exact same 44mm open port top end - and this lasted as long as the 351 was made.
Some time after the 351 was replaced by the 45mm bore closed port 353 (late 2002 or so), they started using the 353 cylinder on the EPA versions of the 350, combined with a dished piston (to keep power output down to the original 350 level. That dished piston is of course best replaced by a 45mm 353 one.

Some late production 351s may have had the same 44mm closed port top end as the late 2149s did - but I have never seen any evidense of this (on the 351).
