550 545 oil leak

Was reading about a owner of a newer 545 with a oil leak.  Seams it leaks in same areas the 346 353 saw I had to fix for a friend.

Owner said he used RTV blue sealant at the joint to oil pump and where it passes through inside tank. Said it hasnt leaked since.

You can see it in the one blue spot at the joint. He said he did both ends then put together to keep from plugging the passage.
