That's how they came new here. Only the last few years came 3/8. Most guys swapped the 16 inch for 15 inch. Great in the softwood limbs.

Came with 7T or 8T 325?

I tried to put 3 different bars in 325 16" 66DL chains with a 8T today and not enough tensioner travel to get chains around the bar.

Run an 8 pin gear on my 359. Think I made them 67dl but a 66 would work. Just more of a pain to get on. What bar are you running. I was using a husky bar on mine part number 508926166. Not sure maybe your bar has a taller body. The body on my bar at the tallest point measures 2 7/16" Hope this helps.

No need to send a bar.  I had a new thin laminated. Then a thin but hair longer laminated. Then a wider same length solid.
I will take another look later today. I just got PO'ed after 3 tries yesterday.
Being the PP365 test fitted with 8T 66DL with no problems. I just figured the husky 357 would be a shoe in too.

That's interesting, as it is no problem on the 346xp.

My impression is that on most saw/bar combinations you need one more dl for 9-pin than with 7-pin, and it varies if that is from 7 to 8, or from 8 to 9. From 8 to 9 seems more common though.

Went through everything to check. 66 drive link chain.  66DL K095 bar.
With tensioner all the way back the bar mount end almost touches rim with 8T on it.  I can forcibly make the 66dl chain go on. But I am not going to fight each chain to do this in the chain build off where I am swapping chains quickly to get back to cutting.

So drilling another bar tensioner hole isnt a option due to space. But grinding the bar rear mount area shorter would be to fit more easily. But I'm not going to at this point. So 7T 325 is on the 357 now.

Dont make since to me why a 325 8T would throw it off like this.  Figured it would be easy peezy just like the other.
