I did put on a new chain because the one was dinged up. In fact, I put a new bar on it too because I didn't want to see if that was going to be a problem so I did it at the same time.

The chain brake was on when I first tried to restart and it would not start, duh. So I made sure it was off and then it started, but chain did not move. 

Oh yea, after starting it and not seeing the chain move, I took it all apart again and had a hell of a time getting the cover off.  The metal ring on the inside of the cover just would not let go of the big cylinder. (I know, wrong terminology, but I am not mechanically inclined - in case you couldn't tell.)

I will try putting it back together tomorrow and will retry all the suggestions I get here.
