Husky 435 starts but won't rev
« on: September 01, 2018, 03:54:08 pm »
Saw starts hard but will sorta idle. Bogs down and dies if given any throttle.
This condition came on slowly. When the problem started I could start it and after a few minutes it would rev normally. Condition steadily got worse until it wont rev at all now.

have replaced the carb : no change
inspected fuel lines: all seem in good condition
Blew through fuel filter : doesn't seem plugged
Now what??
Thanks

Fought one for weeks.  Replaced carb 3 times w/new OEM.  Replaced coil good to go.  Coil goes bad when it advances timing. New OEM coil $22.00.  Got one on Ebay $15.00 del.

You my friend are a life saver. New coil and she runs like new. The coil would have been one of the last things I would have suspected since it would run. Thank you again!!
