Raise exhaust. Leave transfers alone. Muffler mod.

Used the saw a bunch today :) Maybe 3 hours worth.

I ran it, let it cool down completely, then ran it again for the first several uses.  I also tried to not have WOT unless in the wood and then not always either.  Some variable throttle work etc.

This big log required some work to get the hooks off it and whittle it down for the mill head.  The rebuilt Husky did the work like a champ today :)

Log was really too big for the mill but with the big saw and some fiddling I got it milled down

One more pic of this monster.  I got about 500 board feet out of it.

Nice.

Make sure you got that carb tuned right IMO. I like them to clean up in the cuts.  If you dont trust your ears as many of folks are off on both ends to fat or to lean.

Haven't run the saw since last weekend and am thinking of pulling the muffler to get a look at things.  Should be fine though.

One thing I'm wondering is how many have removed the limitters and how many haven't?

I always remove limiters on my own stuff. At least 1 of them if it is the style holding the other one back  too.

Do you know where your saw is tuned at on the H side yet?

Nope.  Gotta get a tach.  Both L and H were all the way to the left (on the stops) so as rich as it can go without removing the limitters.

Get rid of that limiter before you use it again of that's where it scored the piston the first time
