Husky experts need help identifying this saw

L77 maybe or L65

65, not 77 - but I can't say 100% if it is an A65 or a L65. Most likely it is a L65.

If it's an a- or- l 65. Does that mean it's a 65cc?

Have to say it's the later "L" model due to the toggle switch. Pretty sure the "A"' models all used the push button kill switch.

The 77's can always easily be identified by the spark plug sticking out if the top as opposed to the 65's as seen here.

The IPLs I could find agrees with you.  ;D

But those saws are old, and you never really know what has been swapped out - I have seen pics of some alledged L models that have the push button....
