Husq 562 am topends

Anyone find one or use one. Picked up a saw cheap but not wanting to dump $300 plus into it for a topend. Thanks fellas

They are not available yet.

Your best bet is to see if the cylinder will clean up and stick a new piston and rings in it?

already tried cleaning the cylinder thats a no go.

There's been some discussions on the 500 series Husqvarna's galled cylinders

The discussions were from talking about leaking decompression valves, leaking transfer cover plate gaskets, to running 50:1 oil ratios

Just checked your OEM options 555 complete top end is $225 or a 562 is $300.
My distributor has the 555 kits in stock but not the 562.

That price differense has to be "artificial" - but which saw related prices aren't?  ;D

He could just buy the 555 top end and switch the transfer covers off his damaged cylinder.

I believe so, but am not 100% sure the basic cylinder is exactly the same.
