Thanks for the replies.  It is weird about no idle screw, I have the  L and H  and where the idle screw should be there is no hole  to get to the screw.  This has the EPA carb I believe so  that may be why I have no access?  As for fuel I  am on the first gal of mix which ran fine for the first 5/6 tanks. I use SHELL 91 with Husqvarna Oil mix.. But like you said bad mix  is a issue,but my gas is a week old... I did order the   special  adjusting  screw driver for the H and L. On the older 240s I see the H L and idle screw in the pics. Once out or warrenty I will work on it but  if I mess with the H and L  I was worried about  voiding warrenty
