Husqvarna 'flippy' caps
« on: October 09, 2013, 04:13:15 pm »
Have some customers looking for these. I have only seen them in pictures of other saws.

Anyone got any info? Are they available? Part number, cost, source?

Straight from a husky dealer.

Still only 1 size, haven't come across any issues with them as of yet. Same gasket and threads etc. as the previous style. They are $4 each. Part number 522620001

I like them - it is just a neat handle, no fuzz!   ;D

Hey Nikon, how are you doing. Unfortunately I cannot determine if the part number above will fit a 372!

Sounds like a 2nd oil cap coming out.

Per husky dealer.

This just in: Flippy caps are being introduced for the oil tank. Pretty sure they fit the 545/550 saws only as the oil tank caps for these saws are different than the 3 series tank caps.

Thanks, I just tried to order the part number given earlier from PartsTree.com and they said not available!
