I recently bought a Husqvarna 141LE off eBay and it ran ;D  It had problems similar to what you mention so I replaced the cat muffler with an older non-cat one. I cleaned the carburetor--along with the entire saw---and it ran perfect. As  a matter of fact, it is one of the best running saws I have bought.
It is really a dog with the original set up with carb restrictors and cat muffler :(

Tried doing some adjusting on the carb but not getting to good of results.  Now when you start the saw it revs way up then bogs and dies when you pull the throttle.  What i think is happening is the needle is bad or stuck anybody had any thing like this happen?

Did you rebuild the carb or at least throw in a diaphragm after carb adjusting didnt work?

thoroughly cleaning and rebuilding the carb should have been done right off the bat. did you check the fuel lines? primer bulb? i've had a few of these and it's older siblings through here with the carb adapter was loose and leaking. also a couple of them with loose engine case bolts. you'd need to remove the rear handle/tank to check those. i highly doubt there is anything major other than a good cleaning and rebuilt of the carb.
when I grow up, i wanna be an adult.
