I think that you should try the stuff cut4fun suggested first. If it doesn't work for you, it will DEFINITELY be easier to remove than 5200. Then you can give 5200 a try.

The same company that makes seal all make a product called amazing goop that works very well. So this seal all should be real good and a plus it is gas tolerant.

That's the same vent setup as what's on a Poulan 3450/3750 and Poulan Pro 330/380.  Same parts, and same location.  Those saws also have a rep for 'loosing' the vent bits.  I retrofitted my PP330 to the older 3400-4000 and 2800/3300/3500/3600/etc vent setup, which is easily serviced without tearing half the saw apart.  Plugged the original vent hole with a self tapping screw and some Threebond 1194.  Same thing could most likely be done on these 36/136/41/141/etc Husqvarnas.

Just had a husqvarna 141 dropped off.  Guy rebuilt it from 2 saws.  So I have one together and 1 in a box.  Said he pulled the best from the 2 and put together with new ring. But he couldnt get it to start.
He took it to dealer and they told him only 105PSI and price to see whats up. He was   :o at quote,  so he ask me to have a look.

Tore it down today. Just wow. Where do I even start on the cobbled rebuild someone did.

Did see a new one today.

Not the rtv silicon used on the carb gasket or impulse. Not the raised chip in the top of piston from using a screwdriver for a piston stop. Not the to long bolt run through the handle and sticking inside the gas tank. Not even the piston in the wrong way.

Something I didnt think would be possible. Put ring on upside down and be able to put cylinder back on.

If anyone needs 141 parts these 2 are now mine for labor of tear downs and estimates to rebuild.
These 2 are not going back together due to cost to owner.
Will get pics of the bench top with parts in a bit.
