I just went into a saw and replaced all the rubber and plastic parts concerning the oil pump. It didn't completely stop the oil mess for some of it is from the chain and it had become slung all under the chain cover. When you set the saw down from running, it still makes a mess where you set it but doesn't keep on dripping oil for weeks until the oil tank is empty.
We should share what we know... someone may learn...
