Just wanted to update that I assume the saw is safe to use for now as someone informed me that their business has three of the 235 and all 3 have this gap though they also said they werent sure if this was normal or caused by something.

If I find out anything else ill sound off here to help anyone who finds this via search.

Couldnt edit my last lost and had to make this a reply.
