i'm sorry guys I was refering to the spring in the front of the oil tank near the bar. you can see it in bloods pic.  Do any of you guys have a good oem 288 p & c, I have 3 52 mm jugs but I want to build a big one. 

Also, If i was to build a gas muffler saw would I be better with a 2100 or 288? or are they too close to tell?
