Oh I did like that 166 .

Ya'll have to remember the 084 has a compression release and the Husky doesn't .The only time the big stihl will bite you is if it fires early .If and when it does it will hurt you ,that I know from experiance .

It was either at Bill Poors or one of the other GTG's that SOB  came back on me and my hand wasn't right for 6 months .A full grip can take a lot more than a couple of fingers .

I'll give this one a try and see how it goes. I do like the looks of the rescue handle.

Some better pics of the wide area for the fingers on the ms460 rescue handles.

Depending on your dealer $5 - $8  all of mine were $5 a piece and I used to order 6 at a time.

They made the texture of the Stihl D handle slightly rough on purpose .It was because they are used by firefighters who often times start those rescue saws wearing heavy gloves which could be soaked with water .Hard for them to grip a real smooth handle .

Sounds like a good move!  :)
