The actual spur itself would not be hard to do .Broaching  the splines for the drive would be a real challange .Larry S had a 10 spur gear on a saw I think that was done by Ken Dunn .I think it was souped 090 .I ran the thing but oddly can't remember what it was .John Lambert also had a tall gear deal but I can't remember that one either .Fact as I think back big Dave N had an 066 with a ten spur 3/8"

What everyone has to remember when you get into those tall gears you have to have a modified bar with more heel to it else it will fling chains .Not good at all .

Ha I tried to pull a ten pin type on a Mac 125 in .404 .It would pull it but it didn't like it .It was one of those deals where the thing was one unit,drum and drive were one piece .That was about the time I came to the realization not to  use a 125 McCulloch as a cookie cutter and use it for what it was built for ,big wood .
