I've got a 357 walbro 199 on my 45cc 346 and it has never been a problem. Only thing I have had happen is the old style plastic intake clamp came undone somehow. I caught it cleaning up the saw.

The 357 MOS has, has a 199 on it and the replacement zama was bought for it by another owner after me and it wouldnt run right with it on there. Maybe a bad carb from factory. He said he put the 199 back on and it ran fine.
With the Zama, i can't get enough fuel to it. ???

I'm seeing the same thing. Digging up bones to see if anyone has a fix??????
