Yes, except the difference is 5cc, not 4 (45 vs. 50). The OE is more of a specialized limbing saw (it actually replaced the 242xp), while the NE is more alround.

I like the primer bulb though, but it isn't a big deal.

I always screw up the cc on the OE for some reason. I go 45cc 46cc flip flop all the time for unknown reasons as seen in past postings.
