Husqvarna 346 xpg NE

What a find. Sold all of my 346’s like 10 years ago. Even the G models.
Even a blind squirrel gets lucky ever now and then.
Saw been setting for 4 years after owner passed. Family finally selling off the stuff left from him.
Under the grubbiness is a like new saw. 😳

Few more. Dumped old mix after setting 4 years. Put mine in purged real good.  Then popped on 2nd pull on choke. Pushed in started next time.  On real IMO.  Purrs like a kitten.

It will look like new off the shelf when it is cleaned.

@Spike60  or anyone else that recalls them.  What was the 3 different  346 50cc cylinders offered again part number wise?  I know it is here somwhere but not finding it.

This one has the mahle no decomp cylinder.  Which I am glad not to have the decomp.

Date 2009 with the Malhe decomp. So somewhere in 09  started doing both.

That’s as clean as it will ever be while I own it.
Just not a saw detailer.
No rash from a throwing chain ever it appears. Not even chain catcher.  :o
Now to go test it out some more and get it looking like a saw supposed to look like.

We were looking at a guys OE 346 XPG like the one I had 10 years ago. He had the updated switch like NE do.

So digging I found the year to be 2007 for the switch change.

Found it 07 was year for new switch.

This 346xpG is SOLD pending me pulling muffler and inspecting after my testing with it and make sure there isnt any of that weird case rot they get under clutch cover. I had never heard of that except from cutting palms before. But I guess it happens cutting other stuff too. 😲 ✌️
