Husqvarna 350
« on: August 03, 2013, 07:37:20 pm »
Some idiot put the wrong fuel mixture. I won't say who.>:(

The cylinder looked fine. I put a new piston and  rings in and it won't start.

The compression feels fine.

Does anyone know what the compression should be?
Thanks to all who help.

In my experience a 2-stroke needs 100 to run at all and they run best at 150 or greater. Have you pressure tested the saw? IIRC 350 is a clam shell design, are you sure that you have no leaks on the bottom end?

Three things must be present in order for the saw to run, fuel, air and spark if any one of them is missing the saw will not run.

350 isnt clamshell. Has plastic crankcase with bolt on cylinder. You can put a 346 cylinder etc on a 350.

It has a horisontal split case like a clamshell, but the upper part of the case isn't part of the cylinder, like it is on a true clamshell design.
