If your blaming the 25-1 mixture it will run on that. Sounds like you have an other problem.

Running 25:1 is a bad idea anyway - and it will run a bit lean if the carb isn't richened accordingly.

More oil in the fuel means the the fuel to air mix will be leaner, if the carb setting is the same. The carb won't know the difference, but the engine will.....

It's got a darn good spark.

I need to locate a compression gauge so I won't be back until I can check the compression.

Thanks all.

Maybe an impulse or fuel line problem.

Sometimes after a rebuild I have to prime the saw to get it rolling the first time

Does it run on prime

Dang good spark IN the cylinder or with the plug sitting out?  Will it fire on prime?  Can the intake manifold be moved at the cylinder connection easiely with screw driver?  What color/texture was the plug?

There is virtually no compression.

I was told there is a reed valve that might not be working.  I have watched both videos.
Thanks to all who help.

There's no reed valve in a 350

44mm piston in 45mm cyl.??????? or broke ring during install?  Just throwing some things out there.  I put a 46mm ring on a 47mm piston one time was in a hurry and didn't check end gap before I installed it on the piston.
