Same saw as 353 - 346 except has the 44m/m open port cyl of the 350, both of mine now wear 346 cyls, one OE & one NE.

True - and the 351 never got the 45mm 353 cylinder with a dished piston like the EPA version of the 350 did. There is a possibility that some late production 351s had a closed port 44mm cylinder that was made the same way as the 353 top end though, as it is a fact that some late production Jonsered 2149s did (basically same saw).

The 351 was replaced by the 353 some time in the second halv of 2002. Everything except the top end was the same between the 346xp (OE), the 351 and the 353 - with the usual exception of changes that was a matter of production time and not model.
