Back from the morning run picking up a 351 and 350. 351 he said dont start and thinks just fuel line. 350 runs and cuts good he said.
Few bumps, bruises and missing parts. Like cover clip bar nut and muffler bolt. Just hope the muffler bolt missing on 351 didnt take out the cylinder threads on the way out.

Hopefully it just fell out. My recently acquired 2149 has impressed me the few times I've run it. Need to get the intake clamp swapped out & run it some more.

Husqvarna 351 and 350

Another taken a chance pays off. Bought the 350 and 351 without even checking over. Was told the 350 ran but the 351 didnt. Both run now.
Also used the 346 muffler bracket after cutting case leg off for 350 muffler support.
Then looking at 351 muffler support bracket. I'd never seen that one before.
Both need the metal intake clamp update. Can see where the boot slides on the cylinder area on 350.
350 45mm plastic cased and 351 44mm mag cased.

Oh yeah past owner bought a new air filter for the 350. The twist on style. Total fail. They fit loose as heck and will allow crap through that area. Pulled the oem one off 351 and tried both back and forth and it is the loose fit of afm.

Got lucky not stripped out and had 4 aftermarket bolts on hand for the 351.

Also cut the leg off the 346 muffler bracket for 350 muffler.

Since I didnt have to pull the 351 44mm cylinder. Is this what it looks like inside, same as jonsered 2149?

That 351 muffler support is the same one they used on the 346OE at the time.  That 44mm open port comes alive real well with a gasket delete and muff/mod. I like 'em.

None of my OE 346's had that muffler bracket. Just saying.

Some of the early 346s and 353s -did.  Since they all shared the same case as the 351, it stands to reason.  Or, likely due to the parts Husky had on hand, or just before the new 2-leg design.  Not that it matters a hell of a lot, but I've had a few and I think I still have 1or 2 in my pile out back.
