Cleaned and test fit everything. The pump part fits so tight into the 1 piece rubber part.  Made sure the 2 pump bolts were snug good.
Put back together and tested by warming up saw and set to see how bad it leaks.  Could see seeping started in the time it took to hand sharpen a chain.

Have pics just not uploaded yet.

I'm following this for I redid everything in my 2006 7900 and it didn't change the leak at all.

The 7900 is made different from a 350. I rebuilt the pump and replaced all the rubber with the green pieces.

The 7900 will leak where the pickup tube goes into the oil tank. There is a molded double lip connector on the tube. It will leak around the lips.

Going by online for sale pics this should be 2 parts. But dang the molded seem line goes right down through both as if one single part.  I tried to separate but didnt want to rip anything.  :o

When just setting. I swear it is leaking right out of the oiler hole, then it just run down the metal bar cover and out the seem at bottom of cover and crankcase meet.   Just the way it is designed.   ???
