Got the muffler open up. Drill through the baffle everywhere and pulled about 3/4 of the tube out that ran from top to baffle area. So mostly all the tube is gone but at the top where it exits now.

I didn't see anything dangerous about doing this e-tech muffler. Is this the one people call the Cat muffler = catalytic muffler?
It should have "cat" or "catalytic" stamped under the part number?

Yep CAT right under the numbers.

IMO nothing there to worry about.  All I see was a metal baffle going across with itty bitty holes o o o o zig zagged in baffle and a tube in front of baffle running front to back and up to  top for exit.
