353 should not have a primer bulb. I had a chance to pick one up cheap but passed, didn't think I would get it past the household CFO. I don't NEED one but want it and that's good enough for me.

Just so you can see it. The 2011 353 I had looked at had primer bulb. Here is a 2011 husqvarna 353 IPL showing primer bulb page 16. http://www.husqvarna.com/ddoc/HUSI/HUSI2011_AAaa/HUSI2011_AAaa__15.pdf

I think (not sure) somewhere on 2007 they made the switch. That being said this 353 I just picked up must be 07 or older. Will know when I check the metal tag when it comes in.

That sounds correct - the 353 got the primer about the same time as the 346xp became the NE.
