I really like my 353.  Not as sexy as her faster sister, but a reliable, versatile saw.  More Ford Taurus; less Ford Mustang.

I just did a similar oil leak remediation on a Jonsered 2152 (which is how I got linked to this thread).  Had the split / 2-piece oil line.  Cleaned off the oil, then cleaned again with acetone, then sealed with Permatex Ultra Black silicone gasket/sealant where the pieces meet the metal oil pump, and around the 'O'-ring seal where it enters the tank.

Hope it works! (not my personal saw, so it may take a while to get feedback on the results).
