Has anyone tried this fix?

wondering if anyone has done this and had any luck?

I'd like to do it, but don't want to wreck my Hda 199a carb.
there are ppl that say they can fix for $25 plus shipping or so. wondering if this is all they are doing to fix them?

thanks,

Here is the thread of the guy offering the fix.  http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/ported-saws/hda-carb-fix/

I have heard of a few guys sending bad 199 carbs to him for the fix and they come back working.  ;)
