That there is a Sandvik bar. I used them logging back in the early 1980s. Weird bar , they were laminated but still had a replaceable nose. That design of nose proved to have a weak bar/nose joint.

OOPS, my mistake. I took a closer look at the video and I see the bar is a Tsumura.

You might like this new 25% lighter bar ST, Mar 16 2011, Husqvarna TechLite.

The new lightweight guide bar from Husqvarna utilises aerospace technology. This has resulted in a more balanced and easier-to-handle chainsaw. The TechLite™ bar is up to 25 percent lighter than regular guide bars, without compromising the superb rigidity.

By using new materials and a new construction technique borrowed from aerospace, Husqvarna has managed to lower the guide bar weight by 25 percent compared to regular guide bars. TechLite™ is a true state-of-the-art innovation which significantly reduces strain on the operator’s body and enhances ergonomic efficiency.

The unique features specific for TechLite™ include a laminated guide bar with an aluminium centre and a sword constructed in layers of steel, aluminium and steel (S-A-S). A laminated guide bar is highly uncommon in sizes 20" and over. The TechLite™ bars come in lengths of 20" and 28" and fits all models over 60 cc.

The Husqvarna TechLite™guide bar is available in shops on the XX of XX

The Tech-Lites are in the catalog here, but I haven't seen one. Some guys on the AS have used them for a while, but they aren't common yet.....

Btw, they are made in Norway at a Husky owned factory - not by Oregon. ;)

Yep. That gasket was on the wrong side, blocking the impulse hole in the carb. Thanks for the IPL BTW ;D

That one is listing the Walbro carbs that tend to go bad. ;)

This one had that Walbro carb on it. Someone put new replacement Zama on it still same issue.   So MOS going through everything right now to see what is happening. Oh new coil too.

Saw ran great last time I had it in my hands. Taken another 1st at the winter ohio wkpoor's gtg 2010 and sold it after gtg.
