The 365XT is nothing more than a slightly detuned 372. They are identical except for a "porting" difference. And no, I ain't tellin!  ;D

I can't believe that no one on any of these saw sites has discovered the secret I'm referring to here. Anybody who takes them both apart will see it right away.

So, it is as simple as removing this plate and you have a 372?

Has anyone checked the port timing of both 365xt 372xt cylinders to see if they were the same?

spike are you allowed to show us this plate in a pic?

I've tried to compare part numbers between the two IPL's and the only difference I can see is the part number of the complete P&C.

Yet the pistons have the same number. Therefore the only difference is in the cylinder itself and the decal on the starter?

So we are looking at intake ports on the cylinder?
