I have heard good things about Baileys NWP also. Just hearsay though.

My favorite is the kits from Northwoods.  The plating did not chip when ground and the ports are consistent.  My experience with the NWP has been that the exhaust port is crooked.  The port will open from the left to right instead of center out.  Hopefully they have fixed this but as of three months ago they had not.  I have some pics.  Will dig them up.

I forgot about our Aussie connection here on the site, MCW said he has been testing some BB372 kits he is importing stock and ported with good results. I would think shipping from Oz would be the killer though.

I just did a NWP BBK from Baileys on a pristine 1998 365 and had the same major offset to the left side of ex. port.  I just widened it on that side and cleaned up the right side making both sides equal. Haven't run it except to set rpm's on the fat side.

The latest kits Matt (MCW) has gotten in are the nicest 372 BB's I've seen yet. I haven't port mapped or measured the ex port on these to see if they are crooked or not but by the eye they look good. Super clean and smooth comp chamber etc.

I'll do a basic woods port on one of these kits for Matt's personnel saw. Here's a vid of an earlier kit with a basic port job.

Welcome Al H to the site.

Just so you know you dont have to try and use youtube embedding here with their extra steps. Just use the link in the URL ( I think that is what it is called, not sure  :-[ ) at the top of your puter that looks like this.  http: //www.you tube.com /watch?v= Nxi4R8L _h7E
